2011 Company Christmas Party
This year our company's Christmas party was held in a children's home, called He Cares Foundation located in Visayas avenue, Quezon City.
The food and party host was from Mcdonald's (thanks prince!) all had a nice lunch, prizes and wonderful time with their mascot, Grimace.
Each employee has the opportunity to make a 2 child happy that day by giving them gifts, donations and sharing some few times with them that they too are remembered.
Serving and Giving with Joys in our Hearts!

Gift for Yaya this Christmas
This Christmas, Mom and I were thinking what gift ti give our beloved ate em's.She's been with us more than a year already, giving her best in every house hold chores and taking care of my 1 year old daughter.
We've given her a 13th month pay and according to her she will use it to fix their roofs. we've got an idea to give her something useful for their home. Perhaps a stove or a stand-fan.
We're also considering giving her basket of grocery. But we're still undecided.
To our dear ate em's, we thank the Lord for your assistance, you're BIG blessing!

A year of wonders
Seeing my little star turned 1 and celebrated our 1st birthday together brought so much joy in my heart, that words can’t be explained and counted.
That morning she turned 1, I saw the brightest smiles and most loving eyes. It’s priceless.
It was a healthy, fun and love-filled 365 days! All the 1st a mom should experience, I was there and shared it to her. 1st immunization, bathing, feeding of solid food,Going to church, smiles, wave, crawl, steps, babble words, laugh, tricks.. name it!
Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to be called a mother. For allowing me step high on faith and love for YOU. Giving me a lot of chances to LEARN.
For the another chance to appreciate more of the people around me. Most of all thank you Lord for loving and blessing me with a little girl. i love you erin beatrice!
Truly Lord, that I am awed on the way you are showing how you love unconditionally.
Help me Lord to yield more on You and guide me to bring up my child closest to YOU!
In our birthday Lord, this is not just about MOM and Baby tandem. But it’s all about YOU!

Salute to Ms. Janice De Belen
Again, salute to Ms. Janice de belen.
I love the interview of Charlene Gonzales to Janice de Belen last Sunday in the Buzz. I simply adore and impressed Ms. De belen how she took chance on the name of love, fight for the right of her children
And most especially on becoming a singlemom, which is closest to my heart. Melts my heart and cry with the letter her son Luigi wrote for her mom. Shouting to the whole world that he will love and will
Be the “superman” to her Mom’s heart.
Ms. De belen’s strong, courageous and loving in nature, I believed made her love more by her children. Her selfless ways to provide for her children, she is willing to do just anyting. A truly remarkable heart of a mom.
Ms. De belen, you did a great job. You have a wonderful and loving children. God bless you more!

An open letter: Happy birthday, Nanay!
Dear Nanay,
As you celebrate your 67th birthday today, I can’t help but be awed how our good Lord is truly blessing your with a good heart and health.
I am very blessed how strong you are in spite of your senior year. Can walk fast, enjoys watching television, eats with little food limitations, take care of the household needs and rarely get sick.
It is true when they say that you only get to appreciate your mother to the fullest when you are already a mom. I knew in my heart in my growing years to date that I love and I adore you as
A mother and woman. But I love you more each day today that I am now a mother. Now I can feel your worries, sentiments, protection, care, support and love all the more. It’s a tough job to be called a mother.
The 9 months of pregnancy course had been very enjoyable and smooth with you around. I thank your support for being there for me a day before my delivery and the 3 days stay at the hospital since I delivered
Via cs section and you took good care of my daughter whole-heartily. I know very well I am loved.
I’ve never been a perfect daughter to you. I am thankful you never asked to me to be perfect. You wanted me to become ME. Grew fine. Believed in God and myself. You never, never ask any in return.
Nay, I maybe running out of words to tell the world how I love you but I will make sure that you will feel love, respected and appreciated.
I promised that your grand daughter will grew loving and following our Saviour. Remembering how you and tatay take care and love her. That she will be safe with me with God’s grace and providence.
You did a great job, nanay! Mahal namin kayo.
Maligayang kaarawan.

Expense and Babies
My team mate and I were talking on a baby’s expense while off to our client call. Both of us agree that in deed having a baby is also expensive these days.
Agree? Imagine this:
· Babies need at least 3-4 diapers in a day. that’s roughly 90-120pcs in 30 days.
· Milk. The 900grams to 1.2kg lasts only a week or lucky enough, 10 days. Around 1k plus!
· Salary for Nanny.
· Even babies have their own personal care needs: lotion, baby wash, petroleum jelly, cottons, baby wipes, vitamins et al.
· Food! Moment they reached 6 months, babies start to be fed with a solid food. Aside from the cereals.
· Routine monthly check up. Don’t forget to gas up your tank.
But more over, each baby is a blessing.
My advice. Save and start it NOW.

Repost: Bills seeks maternity leave for unmarried pregnant gov't workers
By Marjorie Gorospe
QUEZON CITY, METRO MANILA -- A measure filed in Congress seeks to grant maternity leaves to unmarried pregnant government employees.
House Bill 4684, principally authored by General Assembly Binding Women for Reforms, Integrity, Equality, Leadership, and Action (Gabriela) Representative Emmi De Jesus, states that women in government service should be given the maternity leave regardless of marital status.
De Jesus stressed that the government should recognize the important role of women in society and it is the state’s obligation to protect working women as specifically stated in the Article III, Section 14 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
This, however, is not yet fully recognized by the government as present legislation is still discriminatory to women, said De Jesus, who is also the vice chair of the House Committee on Population and Family Relations.
De Jesus further reiterated that the present law also violates the equal protection principle under Philippine laws.
Gabriela Rep. Luzviminda Ilagan, A co-author of the bill, added that the present law on maternity leave deprives both the unmarried woman and the unborn child of the protection they are entitled to.
Maternity leave benefits are being given to pregnant women in the private sector regardless of marital status in accordance to RA 8282 or the Social Security System Act.
Women’s groups are also supporting the granting of maternity leaves to unmarried pregnant workers in government.
