How to turn meal time enjoyable for our babies

It's always a challenge for us moms how to turn meal time enjoyable for our babies. not to mention this babies of our are very active and playing even feed time.

here are perhaps some ways to assist us:

  1. Get ready for your babies favorite toy.
  2. Sing our baby a joyful song.
  3. Continue to talk to our babies.
  4. Make funny sounds or funny faces.
  5. Introduce a new taste.
  6. Add on textures and colors.
believed we all could always incorporate fun and taste in feeding our babies, as this also help them develop their motor and social skills!

And do prepare it healthily with much Love.

Aprol 26, 2011 hottest day recorded yet this year

I didn't know that yesterday was the hottest day recorded this summer of 2011, since our office is fully air-conditioned. Not until i got home last night and ask hows my 5 month old baby girl did the whole day.
According to my mom, baby erin didn't sleep from 1-5pm yesterday because of surprising heat she experienced. Imagine a 5month old baby not sleeping straight 4 hours? the incidence made me worried, cuz my baby usually sleeps 2x in the afternoon (12nn to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 4:30pm) is her routine.

So today before going to office, i told my mom and her yaya to frequently check erin and give her water. quick wash all over to make her feel at ease, as comes another challenge afternoon for them.

Praying for more easy and less heat day today and the next days :)

Staycation

This 2011holy week my family and i decided to stay at home instead of going out of town because of my 5 month old baby. I don't want her to experience hustle travel and high summer temperature is also a big factor. Lucky that my company give this Wednesday as half day.

With this we are thinking how to spend the holy week at home.

Here are the things i listed that i wish to accomplish.

  1. Church visit on Thursday morning.
  2. 1 meal fasting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
  3. Bible study.
  4. Confession.
  5. Quiet time.
  6. De cluttering
  7. Rest and Reflect.
Let's all have a meaningful Holy week. Do personal Reflection.

Chewy Junior

The exciting way of eating cream puff is through CHEWY Junior! this is not-so-sweet filled cream filling, with the promise of the chewy outside and enticing flavors to choose from.

the box of 3 is only P115.00 and this is newly open in Megamall. Must try for our kids!

Intro to 1st baby food

I first introduced my baby to her 1st solid food in her little tummy at exactly on her 5th month-sary. I picked the Nestle's cerelac brown rice and milk.

Happy enough to find out that she enjoys eating her 1st  meal and she's loving it. She now eats twice in a day.

look how she love it:

Kusina ni Kambal: Review

this is the main entrance of kusina ni kambal

the panel where the food is serve

this is the center area where i opted to display the cake

the piano area where i put the souvenir.

the tabletop in "pink"

I've personally chosen Kusina ni Kambal as my caterer for my daughter's christening, primarily my choice of church is across their venue. 2nd because i have only around 35guest,a perfect area for the event.
and lastly, because i was able to have  a venue with a reasonable price.

the area if fully air-conditioned with a friendly staff. plus the food is great and a bottomless rasberry iced-tea(thanks God). Also, sound system is already covered.

For food,i personally choose a variant of pork, chicken, beef, pancit, fish with a peaches and almond jelly as a dessert.

You can also request for a tabletop color, for this event i requested for a pink for a girly look.

payment is in cash, i was hoping for atm based debit payment.
