My Baby at 7 months

At almost 7 months I notice that my baby

·         Perfects roll-over.

·         Laughing and giggling a lot.

·         Loves colors more and moving objects.

·         Already knows her name.

·         Shows face familiarity.

·         Picks up objects.

·         Sit with minimum assistance.

·         Love to babble.

·         Likes playtime.

·         Appreciates food.

·         Bottle feeding less.

·         Start to crawl.

·         Throwing objects.

·         Bouncing every time I train her to stand.

·         Likes musics.

·         Perfect holding her bottle.

·         Can gesture “no”.

·         Like sounds of paper and plastics.

·         Love to be cuddled and tickled.

·         Enjoys bath time.

My Cupcake Icing Receipe

Just the other day, i finally did my icing for a cupcake. I decided to just buy a ready made cupcake at the grocery and do the icing myself. It wasn't that bad for a 1st timer. Take a look on some photos:

Ingredients:

2 egg whites
21/2 cup confectionery sugar
1/4 butter
3 table spoon cocoa
candy sprinkles

For my next project, i'll try to put on some colors!

Just in time for the summer, i'd like to share you a smoothie recipe i tried this weekend (sorry i forgot to capture how it looks).

All ingredients are easy to found in your favorite supermarkets. 

Enjoy moms! 

Banana, Strawberry and Pineapple

Ingredients:

1 cup fat-free, plain yogurt

6 medium strawberries

1 cup pineapple, crushed, canned in juice

1 medium banana

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 ice cubes

Procedure:

Place all ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth. Serve in frosted glass.

Good news! DOH to shoulder hospital expenses of breastfeeding moms

Reading this article today in Yahoo Philippines. Another great step from the DOH in supporting breastfeeding.

" MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) has promised to shoulder the hospital expenses of mothers who are breastfeeding their newborn babies.

The DOH said it will pay the expenses of mothers depending on the venue of their delivery: P6,500 for hospitals and P1,750 for lying-in clinics.
The department said this is part of its "New-Born Package," a program created to prevent neonatal deaths in the country.
The DOH said it is keen on promoting breastfeeding to protect the health of newborn babies.
The program is being endorsed by celebrities such as Audrey Zubiri and Daphne Osena-Paez.
The DOH said breast milk is still the healthiest food for newborns in their first 6 months.
Breastfeeeding can also help mothers save to as much as P2,000 per month, the department said. "
